Rapper Gucci Mane will likely spend the next few years behind bars over his federal gun possession case.
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Gucci Mane -- whose real name is Radric Davis -- struck a plea deal with federal prosecutors on Tuesday and pled guilty to the charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
In exchange, prosecutors recommended that he receive a prison sentence of three years and three months. He faced a maximum sentence of ten-years behind bars if he had been convicted. Gucci will be officially sentenced in July.
Gucci Mane was slapped with the gun possession charge following a pair of incidents in Atlanta last year where he was accused of brandishing a handgun.
