We know its bad in the Bay but this is next level! Surveillance footage caught the moment retired Oakland police captain, Ersie Joyner, was shot and seriously injured during an attempted robbery in Oakland. The robbery resulted in two of the assailants being shot, one of which died from his injuries. Unfortunately, Joyner was shot as well during the confrontation and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Police say the incident with Joyner occured at the 1700 block of Castro street at a service station. Police say they arrived and found the property littered with bullet casings.
