Nick Jonasโ latest single is a love letter for his wife Priyanka Chopra.
Jonas unveiled a new song on Thursday (March 4), titled โThis Is Heaven,โ a catchy and romantic pop jam from the musicianโs upcoming studio album, Spaceman, dropping March 12.
The 28-year-old, who originally live-debuted the song during his double duty appearance on Saturday Night Live last weekend, officially dropped the Greg Kurstin-produced record to promote the impending release of his new solo LP.
On the funky, โ80s-themed groove, Jonas sings of finding paradise in the company of his lady love, who is not only the apple of his eye in real-life but served as the inspiration for the song. (For those who donโt know, Jonas tied the knot with the Indian actress in December 2018.)
With silky vocals over the trackโs smooth production, Jonas croons in the chorus: โIf you told me that my fate was on your fingertips / Then, I wouldn't believe it / I wouldn't believe it / Every kiss with you, it's like a prayer falls from my lips / Now I'm a believer / Yeah, I'm a believer.โ
โThis Is Heavenโ is the second single to come off Spaceman following the title trackโs February release.
As Jonas explained in a recent radio interview, he wanted the song โto encapsulate kind of that euphoric feeling of being with your person.โ
"I think that it's just that magical connection you've got with somebody when it's right,โ Jonas gushed about Chopra, who he says influences his music for the better. โAnd it's been a while, you know, first couple years of a marriage, but I'm very blessed."
