Kendrick Lamar Releases First Video for "The Heart part 5" off New Album

K. DOT is Back!

Kendrick Lamar is gearing up to release his next studio album at the end of this week, which some believe he may have hinted to be a double-album (dual). The rapper dropped the first visual for a track entitled "The Heart Part 5" on Mother's Day Sunday, that has had the internet and hip hop fans going wild.

The first noticeable thing is his face shifting into the faces of other well-known black men, such as O.J. Simpson, Jussie Smollett, Kanye West, Kobe Bryant and Nipsey Hussle.

But - once he gets to Hussle's part of the song, he raps it from the posthumous perspective of the late rapper. He speaks to Hussle's alleged killer and offering a sense of "understanding" to the situation.

The beat is a sample of Marvin Gaye's 1976 classic, "I Want You."

This video definitely takes deepfakes to a whole new level.

What do you think of the video - and are you excited for his release this week?
