Rod Wave Allegedly Choked Ex Girlfriend While Kids Were Home
It's been a mysterious week - as fans have waited to find out what really happened, involving St. Petersburg crooner, Rod Wave, and his public arrest.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the singer came into the room of his now ex where she was sleeping and accused her of romantically talking to other men. She then gives the account that he strangled her until she couldn't breathe - then fled the scene before police arrived.
The two share two children together, whom were home at the time of the attack.
The artist was arrested during a traffic stop the following week.
Wave was released from the Pinellas County Jail on a $5,000 bail on May 3 and has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
A video of the singer's arrest made the rounds on social media as well.
