This is one of those things I wish I never knew could have been possible. Eddie Murphy, while doing a press tour for the upcoming release of the sequel to 'Coming 2 America,' stated that Ryan Coogler, writer, director and Oakland native, pitched the idea of Michael B Jordan playing Murphy''s son looking for a wife. Murphy said he turned down the idea because "then the movie would be about the son, it's not our characters, I've already did that. It didn't come together."
