This is why personal hygiene needs to be taught in school! Ashton Kutcher and wife, Mila Kunis are catching parents attention after admitting that they themselves nor their children shower daily.
While appearing on on an episode of Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast, the couple began talking about their hygiene routine less than 2 minutes in. Kunis began talking about how she's had "horrible skin" all her life and how her hormones balanced in the "right direction" after she had children.
Shepard told co-host Monica Padman that using soap everyday rids the body of natural oils to which Kutcher and Kunis agreed, and went on to divulge they only wash vitals organs every day.
Padman was stunned to be the only full-body daily mandatory wash minority and asked, "Who taught you to not wash?"
"I didn't have hot water growing up as a child so I didn't shower very much anyway," Kunis said.
That tradition was apparently continued with her and Kutcher's two kids, Wyatt, 6, and Dimitri, 4.
"I wasn't that parent that bathed my newborns, ever," Kunis said.
Now that they children are older, Kutcher said they have a system.
"If you can see the dirt on them, clean them," he said. "Otherwise, there's no point."
Kutcher said only washes his "armpits and my crotch daily and nothing else ever." He went on to say "throw some water on my face after a workout to get all the salts out."
Kunis said she does wash her face twice a day. Maybe that's because she's prone to breakouts, as she's said prior.
