Teen Shot Dead, Another Hospitalized In California Movie Theater Shooting


Police are asking witnesses to come forward after two teens were found shot inside a Regal Movie Theater at Regal Edwards Corona Crossings in Southern California, Monday evening. Police say an 18-year-old woman was killed at the scene, while the 19-year-old male was found with life threatening injuries and taken to the hospital. The two were attending a showing for The Forever Purge during the time of the shooting. Gunshots rang out around 11.45pm Monday.

Employees of the theater were only alerted to the shooting following the ending of movie, when an employee found the the teens in the theater. Police do not have witnesses or surveillance footage to indicate any possible suspects. No weapon was found at the scene. Police say six tickets were sold for the movie.
