Rapper, Lil Tjay, is recovering in a New York hospital following emergency surgery today for after getting shot multiple times during an alleged attempted robbery. TMZ reports 3 men were arrested in connection to the shooting.According to a press release from the Bergen County
Prosecutor's Office, Lil Tjay and two other males who were accompanying the rapper were targets of a failed armed robbery attempt by Mohamed Konate. Police claim that Konate shot Tjay several times and also wounded one of the rapper's associates. Three counts of attempted first-degree murder have been brought against Konate.
The two males who were accompanying Tjay were also arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm in the second degree. While Lil Tjay has completed surgery he is still in serious condition.
